For many of you, ràfega is synonymous with fans. And there is nothing that makes us prouder than having succeeded, in recent years, in becoming one of the most beloved artisanal fan brands in Spain and Europe.
But ràfega is, for those of us who are part of this project, much more than a fan. Ràfega is craftsmanship. Craftsmanship made with care, with good materials, and with the intention of creating pieces that will last a long time.
That's why, from the beginning, we wanted this philosophy to be present not only in our fans but also in all the accessories that accompany them.
Leather cases were the first step. When we started thinking about how to protect our fans, different ideas and possibilities came to our table. Until one day we received an Instagram message from a master artisan in Ubrique, one of the great cradles of Spanish leather goods, who wanted to work with us.
Two things won us over from the start: the quality of his work and his understanding of craftsmanship. Also, his proposal to use leather scraps from other products, an idea that perfectly fit our purpose of creating more sustainable accessories and making the most of materials.
Together we designed a case that many of you already know and use.
And that collaboration opened a new door for us: if we could make such a special case, why stop there?
That's how it all began. We contacted the master artisan, shared our ideas, and began to design and test new models in the workshop. We chose colors, adjusted shapes, and paid attention to every detail: from the finishes to the embroidery and engraving that, for us, provide that special ràfega touch.
After several months of work, our two new products were born: cardholders and keyrings.
Cardholders
The ràfega cardholder is a 10x7 cm piece, made of 100% leather, available in three colors: olive green, navy blue, and burgundy.
We have designed it with those in mind who value good materials, artisanal work, and objects that don't need to follow trends to remain.
Its design is sober and elegant, with thread embroidery and a central engraving that add personality without losing simplicity, as well as being compact to carry what you need: your ID, bank cards, or driver's license.
In addition, the leather used comes from suppliers certified as LGW Approved Trader, a guarantee that the raw material is part of a supply chain that meets internationally recognized environmental and ethical standards.
A small everyday item, made with the same attention to detail that we put into each of our fans.
Keyrings
We're not going to lie: this keyring was born out of a very personal need of ours.
We were tired of losing our lip balm, forgetting our lighter at home, not knowing where to carry those small things we always want to have at hand, or simply seeing how keys ended up ruining our pants pockets.
So we thought: what if we created an accessory that would solve all those little everyday problems?
The result is a 9x4 cm keyring, practical, versatile, and elegant. An accessory designed to accompany you and adapt to your needs, without sacrificing aesthetics or quality.
It is also made of 100% leather and manufactured by suppliers certified as LGW Approved Trader.
Much more than a fan
Cardholders and keyrings are new for ràfega, but the idea behind them is not. We continue to believe in good materials, in handcrafted work, in small details, and in the beauty of objects made to last.
Because we want ràfega to continue to be synonymous with fans, but also with evolution and craftsmanship.
And this is just the beginning.
